Writing Credits
Alan has played Panto Dame every year since 1995, being resident Dame at The Adam Smith, Kirkcaldy for eight years as well as writing those pantos, before moving to His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen, where he has been playing Dame since 2004, as well as writing and directing.
Alan is principal script developer/writer for Crossroads Pantomimes (formerly Qdos) – the world’s biggest Panto producer – and each year, writes around twenty of their scripts for venues the length and breadth of the UK.
In addition to writing for Crossroads, and his years of writing the Pantos for the Adam Smith, he has been commissioned to write the Christmas Show/Panto scripts for:
